Lazy Hammock

White Oxford Dress Shirt, Navy Blue Bow Tie, Light Blue Wool Sweater, Skinny Khaki Jeans, Brown Cargo Belt
I love when the sun breaks through the trees and the chill in the air is just enough to make you want a cup of your favorite hot cocoa. The inspiration from these shots came from the pure beauty of the morning and the opportunity to be lazy in my favorite hide-away.

Outfit Idea: Matching Colors

Sometimes I find buying new clothing less exciting as finding new outfits in your existing wardrobe. I discovered 3 new outfit ideas just the other day without ever having to leave the house, or even better having to open my wallet. Bow ties help me to color coordinate my outfits better. By pulling the main colors from the tie, I can see matching colors in shirt logos, pocket squares, belts, shoes and socks easier. In this case I found that the navy blue in the bow tie matched this polo's shirt, while perfectly blending the two together with the red shirt logo. Follow me on Twitter for more ideas like this one, and don't forget to share yours as well.

Extra Fine Merino Wool Sweater by Express

With the temperatures dropping this time of year, it's a good idea to take advantage of holiday sales and look to upgrade your wardrobe with sweaters. This one just might be my favorite, this extra fine Merino wool sweater is soft but strong against harsh temperatures.

Timeless Classic: The Bow Tie

The Bow Tie. Simple and yet complicated at first glance. Quite honestly, you are either doing too much or not enough when wearing one. It's the phrase that no one recognizes. It's the joke that no one gets. There are sequential steps that must be achieved in order to succeed in the fashion game, starting with step number one, confidence.

Look to match patterned bow ties with solid colored shirts, and patterned shirts with solid bow ties, and just in case you have never laced one up before, I have you covered.
